![]() I craved so badly for the ability to take that bit of magic back with me into the real world. I never finished the stories, because I never wanted to leave the world where I had my own pet brontosaurus. What if it was a dragon egg? A dinosaur egg? A griffin? My egg story was rewritten time and time again in the back of my school notebooks until there was no space left. When I was in first-grade, my teacher drew a picture of an egg on the black board and asked us to imagine finding this egg, and what might emerge from it. ![]() ![]() I was born with a galaxy of libraries in my eyes.īut it took a long time to transform them into the words they needed to be.Įver since I can remember, I loved telling stories.
